  • Canon C-100 duplicated metadata

I’ve been shooting with the Canon C-100 Mkii for over a year now and I’ve never come across this issue until a couple months ago. I have metadata that seems to be duplicate files but they are from different shoots. For instance, last week, I shot a story and my clips (all .mp4) are MVI_3337, MVI_3338… and so on. I shot another story this week and I have the same names MVI_3337, MVI3338… Has anyone else had this issue.? I did not format my cards before shooting new material and maybe I should be doing that. I am also wondering if this would be happening if I shot in AVCHD instead of .mp4.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

By the way… Duplicated Metadata sounds like a pretty good band name, if you take it, I want royalties…
