You can’t just connect the canon cameras to the computer. They come with software which needs to be installed. Once you do that the camera will mount properly and you can see the CF card correctly from L&T.

Personally I prefer to use a Sandisk FW800 CF reader which is much faster to L&T files from the card, rather than connecting the camera and using USB speed.

i had the same problem, cause i pass all the files to a hard drive.
But after some research in the web i found the solution to this problem!

You only have to create the folders of the CF card and that is it.
