canon 7d footage dissapears from Vegas 9
So, I have had my 7d for about six months now and I edit in Vegas 9 pro. I have never found a good conversion for my video so I just edit the footage as is. Well, today, every time I try to open an h.264 file inside of Vegas, the clip is placed on the time line, but there is nothing in the preview. The audio comes in fine, but I just can’t get the video in here. I have opened up the video successfully inside of Vegas Platinum addition, but nothing is working for Vegas pro. This is really scary for me because I was working on three big projects and on each of them, there is no more video. The video is on the time line, but nothing is being previewed. Has anyone ever had this problem? I am running Vegas on Windows Vista if that helps. Thanks.

Did you recently allow Quicktime to update to version 7.6.6? If you did, you need to update Vegas Pro 9 to 9.0d. Otherwise you need to downgrade Quicktime to 7.6.4 (if, in fact, this is your problem)

https://dvfilm.com/epic/index.htmI have not tried Epic, but it is supposed to be specifically designed for realtime DSLR H.264 .mov in Vegas 9.0d Pro.
