Canon 70D – log and transfer driver
Does anyone know where I can find a driver for transcoding Canon 70D footage in Final Cut Pro’s log and transfer window?

There is none. The EOS L&T plugin only worked with the Canon 5D and 7D…with a hack for the T2i (550D). THe hack doesn’t work for other models, and Canon didn’t release ones for those other models. Mainly because FCP Legacy (7 and earlier) has been discontinued.
You are going to have to use 5DtoRGB or Compressor or MPEG STREAMCLIP.

I came across the same problem and it’s true that there are no drivers released for the 70d (that I know of) BUT after just installing EOS MOVIE Plugin-E1 for Final Cut Pro 1.5 – (latest release) on both my mac pro and macbook – FCP7 is LOG and TRANSFERING 70D material.. Hope this helps
