Canon 6D + Final Cut Cinema Tools
Hi guys, I have a new Canon 6D.
I tried to work in 50fps to do slow motion and conformed it with Cinema Tools.
The problem is that it doesn’t work. When I imported the clip (50fps) in cinema tools by the batch conformed and conformed it in 25fps, the clip is the same, the slow motion is not generated, and also the clip is saved in “skipped” file and not in the “conformed 25.0” one.Do you know why is that happened? Is there any plug-in for canon 6D that I missed?

You must first convert the file to ProRes.

Really? Just this? 🙂 I didn’t try it. With canon 550d it was not necessary… But thank you!!! I’m gonna try it and let you know!

Well, the footage definately needs to be ProRes before you bring it into FCP….for darn sure. I’ve always converted before I did anything.

If you lack the time to convert, look at using Premiere Pro CC. You can convert the frame rate inside the app, and it doesn’t require you to convert anything. FCP can have any sort of issue when trying to work with H.264 native.
