    Good morning all,

Brand new user here but long time reader – thought I’d ask some help for this unconventional query! I’ve shot a film on my 6D (24fps) but our sound recordist let us down last minute so we recorded via a Rode mic directly INTO the camera.

I’m now hitting the edit but our film is all based upon a musical soundtrack created by the diegetic sound (sound used on screen). Obviously this would’ve been easier given the independent recording of sound but now I’m trying to figure out how to send our sound designer all of the sound rushes by extracting them from the video…

    Any ideas?!

    Much appreciated 🙂

Yes. You send them an OMF file with embedded audio. That is an option from the FILE>EXPORT menu. Ask them if they can take one, first….but that is the most common format audio people take.
