I have a question about live view shooting in auto focus. I am pretty new to all the tech details. I have read a lot of threads that say shooting autofocus in live view is “slow.” Well yes it is “slow”, but I am afraid I am hurting the camera when I do this because i have to hold the button down for so long to get it to take the actual photo, and and I can hear it struggling to find the focus. I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am just afraid I am going to hurt the camera if I do this, can it hurt the camera? And does this mean that I should never ever use live view at the same time as autofocus? Thanks for your help.
