Canon 5dMkIII & FCP7 work flow
Anyone have any suggestions. Log & transfer doesn’t recognize the files in either format.
My QT & FCP & timeline doesn’t see ALL-I compression in QT10 and compressor won’t spit out a pro-res file.
MY QT & FCP 7 timeline will see IPB compression but I prefer to encode to pro res to edit using a Kona card and broadcast monitor. Unfortunately compressor seems to be putting in major artifacts into the transcode.
Any advice on setting etc would be great. Thanks

I don’t know why you ran into this problem. I can transcode files thru L&T w/o hassle in FCP7. Try 5DtoRGB and don’t forget to copy .THM files. It works just fine as well.
