    Hi everyone

I have a problem that I am really stressing about. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have been filming with Canon DSLRs for 6 years now, and have never come across a movie file just not having been saved onto the CF card. I have gathered that the problem is that I, in my haste to change a dying battery during a wedding ceremony, opened the battery compartment WHILE still recording. The clip that I was recording before/during that time is now missing.

My question is: can I recover that file at all?

I realise that it was a silly thing to do, and have resigned myself to the fact that the clip may be gone forever, but I need to know if there is anything that I can do to recover it.

The file doesn’t at all show up on the CF card as a corrupt file, it just isn’t there.

Thank you in advance for any guidance (even if it is to tell me that it is lost forever).
