    Hello,

I just purchased a canon Mark ii recently. I’ve used the Mark I for many years but I’ve noticed that canon changed the way you select focusing points. On the mark I, you would press muti-controller in the direction of the point you want to select for quick and easy focusing. On the mark II the only way I have found to change the focus point is to hold hown the multi controller for a second and then use the menu screen that pops up to change the focusing point. Is there any way to switch the Mark II to act like the mark I and switch a single focus point using the muti-controller without entering into the menu which take too much time for fast environments?

    Thanks

    Mike

Welcome Mike… always glad to have new members.

You MIGHT get an answer to your question here… but the expertise in this forum usually more revolves around Canon video cameras. You’ll probably have a lot more luck (and probably an instant answer) over in the Canon DSLR forum.

    T2
