You should not have to resort to post effects for stabilization, 2d3 have an image stabilizer used in Premiere Pro. However, we have used 2 Canon 5D mark II for over 24 months and have always activated the IS and panned very slowly if necessary using mainly a Canon F3.5 EF IS lens 28-135mm and this jelloo effect has never re-occurred.Canon Australia advised that their Canon EF L f2.8 and f4.0 70- 200mm Have a horizontal stabilizer inbuilt / but, this is too heavy to use hand hold.
We now, never have to use the Image Stabilizer in Premiere Pro or Premiere Elements post production after shooting.
Ps. Another problem may be your computer is not up to the speed ? We had a problem in a Pentium 2.3 Ghz 800 hyper-threaded, not the newer Intel Xeon Quad Core and a Quadro FX 3800 1Ghz video card.If there is no instance in the camera’s LCD the problem is the computer and/or the Vegas software which we found was not up to the standard (in stabilization ie.,, Sony may have improved?) of the Adobe products. Try running your shutter at 1/50 sec , it will be smoother
Good luck !
