    Hi Cows ;-),

I just did some timelapse sequences with a Canon 5D MK II.

They are shot in RAW (CS2). To import those images in AE as a sequence is no big deal.

As it is April the weather changed several times while capturing. Exposure correction during timelapse capture was not exactly/smoothly possible. So some phases are less optimal exposed than others.

    Here’s my question/idea:

Is there a way to import a RAW-sequence without develop them via Camera Raw?

Is there a way to access the RAW-data during compositing?

What I would love is a RAW-effect to put on the RAW-sequence and adjust exposure and the other values, over time.

I did not check but… import RAWs as 32bit/channel TIFs would be an idea and apply an exposure effect(like in PS) to them?

    Any ideas are appreciated!

    regards,
    Gerrit

    Thanks David,

Was the answer from adobe to a similar question. Keyframing of ACR (Adobe Camera RAW) is not possible. But my idea was suggested as workaround:

Import through ACR with 16 bit per Channel and apply exposure in AE.
