Cannot transcribe XDCam in CS5
I am trying to transcribe a Sony XDCam MXF (standard def DV25) file in Premiere CS5 but the analyze button does not work. It works with every other format but MXF. Of course most of my stuff is MXF. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

Check write permissions on the folders. Because the speech analysis needs to write XMP metadata to the folders, having the folders write-protected can disable the option.
