Cannot store XMP metadata in Adobe Bridge
Hi,
I’ve downloaded the trial version of Premiere Pro 2.0 with Adobe Bridge to see if I should upgrade from Premiere Pro 1.5. One of the reasons I consider an upgrade is the file browser with Adobe Bridge, so that I can search any clips stored on my HDs.
But I can’t add any metadata to my avi files. I get the message “File xxx.avi cannot store XMP metadata”, when trying to add a keyword. And there is no pencil to edit the metadata fields.
Why is that? Can avi files not store metadata? It’s working fine with jpg’s, well most of them.
Version is Adobe Bridge 1.0.1.46 (can’t upgrade, I suppose because it’s a trial version).
Grateful for any guidance!
/Daniel
