cannot see time/date on the pc from digital camera
hi,
i hade sony-HDR-CX12 digital camera. when i shootiing with the camera i see all data about time/date/length , but when i copy some clip to my pc i donot see any of this data. i use with sony vegas 8.
how can i solve this problem ? -

It is in the project media tab. If you don’t see the project media tab then go to the View drop down and select it.

Sorry, Vegas doesn’t know how to access the date / time stamp information. You can use a third-party app to create a new file with this information burned over it. If you only need this information while editing, then you can edit with the new files and then replace those with the old ones when you’re ready to render.
Here’s one such program. But it only works with DV AVI, which (judin by the HDR in the name) I’m guessing your camera does not produce.
