  • Cannot see or adjust the audio levels while capturing in PPro

    Hi Everybody,
I’m working in Premier Pro(updated) latest version with Decklink Blackmagic card.
It’s very funny and annoying that I cannot see, monitor or adjust the Audio Input Levels while capturing from any source in the audio mixer.
Usually any software with any card show/adjust audio levels while capturing.
    Am I missing something there?
    Please help.

    Regards,

    sachin

You cannot view or alter the audio levels while capturing. This is not supported with firewire as what you are essentially doing is data capture.

    Hi Sareen,
I appreciate your response. I understand that audio cannot be altered through firwire but what about other sources (XLR, RC etc.) It’s not happening when I’m capturing through Beta/Digital Beta (XLR/RC) sources.
Please just clear this doubt whether I can increase or decrease the audio levels with these sources while capturing.

    thanks,
    sachin
