Cannot see or adjust the audio levels while capturing in PPro
Hi Everybody,
I’m working in Premier Pro(updated) latest version with Decklink Blackmagic card.
It’s very funny and annoying that I cannot see, monitor or adjust the Audio Input Levels while capturing from any source in the audio mixer.
Usually any software with any card show/adjust audio levels while capturing.
Am I missing something there?

You cannot view or alter the audio levels while capturing. This is not supported with firewire as what you are essentially doing is data capture.

Hi Sareen,
I appreciate your response. I understand that audio cannot be altered through firwire but what about other sources (XLR, RC etc.) It’s not happening when I’m capturing through Beta/Digital Beta (XLR/RC) sources.
Please just clear this doubt whether I can increase or decrease the audio levels with these sources while capturing.thanks,
