So, I have some audio clips that I cannot move to different tracks for some reason. When I import them into the sequence, they automatically get assigned to track 5, and I cannot put them anywhere else, and I need to. Maybe it’s something obvious and simple, but I don’t understand why I cannot simply drag them up a track and layer them. My guess is it has something to do with mono vs. stereo? …I don’t really have any idea. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

It’s likley they are mono clips (single waveform) and one speaker in the track (at the left edge)

and you are tying to move them to a stereo clip (2 wave forms) and 2 speakers in track (at left edge)

    or the opposite.

right click in the track tabs and Add the track types that you need above or below based on the options in the panel.

    Hope that helps….
