Cannot Load FCP
For years we’ve been running FCP 7 on our Mac Pro, 2 X 2.8 GHZ quad-Core Intel Xeon 5400 Series, 2nd Gen, early 2008. Lately it’s been freezing and misbehaving so we took it in for repair last week. The technician found that the internal drive was bad and replaced it. We just got it back, went to reload FCP and got this error message preventing us from loading it: “You can’t open the application Final Cut Studio.MPKG because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.” What does this mean, and what do I need to do? Thank you.

You trying to install FCP 6? FCP 7 should install fine. But the 6 installer is PowerPC.
