cannot load clips into proxy window
I cannot add clips in the Proxy window, from the Media Pool or the File Browser, right click on the clip, select add to Proxy Manager, the Proxy manager window open but nothing gets added. Drag the clips into it and nothing happens, the Proxy Manager remains blank.
I’m using 7.0.2, Mac up to specs, and I assume is a bug, I just want to confirm if this is just me or it is happening to everyone else

Your question mirrors one that was just responded to on the davincihelp mail list. Here is the answer that was provided there:
The proxy manager is supported for file based formats, like DPX, CIN, etc. It’s not supported for clip formats like Red, Quicktime, etc.

So what the hell, you either buy an infiniband system or you only use sequences?!?! That seems completely ridiculous. I’m not saying you are wrong, just seems stupid of Black Magic seeing as they plan to release the lite version soon which is basically made for the MacPro.
