Hello, im new to macs and maybe the problem s there
I have downloaded the blackmagic codecs, installed them as instructed:

copied “Blackmagic Codec.component” into the /Library/QuickTime directory.
does not work, neither does the 1st suggested workaround
    * Do a Get Info on the QuickTime folder, located at /Library/QuickTime, and note the Modified Date & Time.

    * in Terminal type in the following commands and then quit from Terminal:
sudo su [press Return, enter your password and press Return again]
    cd /Library [press Return]
touch QuickTime [press Return and then quit from Terminal]

    * Do another Get Info on the QuickTime folder located at /Library/QuickTime and ensure that the Modified Date & Time has changed to now.
The Touch Quickime doesnt seem to change the modified date and time

, for the second workaround, i cannot find
the “equivalent location in your Home directory, ie ~/Library/QuickTime.”

Has somebody run into this problem, wht can I be doing wrong?
    Thank you for help

    HI,

    What exactly is not working?

Does it show up in Quicktime Pro’s export options?

    regards
