Cannot import metadata from subtitle file in SubCap
Hello,
I have a problem receiving subtitles from my translator/the woman who makes my subtitles. I have tried importing both an AVID DS and an STL-file into the SubCap (Generator) in Avid. In the effect editor I import the file through “Caption files”->”Import Caption Data”.
The subtitles goes into the timeline in the correct position, BUT—->I loose all the metadata like font/size/color/box apperance/placing in the screen. Everything just go up in the corner with a black box.
Is there any way to import the file with full metadata?

Media Composer has never supported font, color, position, box, etc. Only text an timing in both the DS and STL formats. AAF might be different but have not tested that to any extent.
