  • Cannot get Mercury Playback to work on Lenovo W530

    Just got a new computer with a Nvidia Quadro K2000M graphics card (Windows 7 x64). The card is on Adobe’s approved list but Adobe Premiere CS 6 does not seem to be making use of it. see image below.

    Any suggestions as to why this might be?

    whats the K in the K2000m?

    You may need to install the new driver from nVidia, lenovo may have their own driver which may not show up in Mercury.

    A refresh of the mobile Quadro chips.

    Twice the Cuda cores vs. prev gen non-“k” versions, more features.

    That means they are not officially supported by Adobe, and you have to add your Quadro K to the Adobe configuration file. Instructions in the bottom here (Studio 1 Productions FAQ):
