Cannot get DNxHD in a Quicktime wrapper!
Hello all,
I’ve tried it all and have all my codecs installed properly – no matter what i do I can’t get anything besides prores options for quicktime in AME CC. I need to use the DNxHd inside QT to encode some tricky media for AVID ingest (prelude deals well will the AVCHD files it was shot on)
Is this a Mavericks issue anyone else has been having?
I have a 3.4 HHz i7 iMac with 8GB RAM and am running 10.9.1 (also Media Composer is version 6.5.4.1 with all latest codecs installed)
Also, I AM able to export QT with DNxHD as codec in QT 7 and MPEG Streamclip so the right components are there. AME CC just refuses to see it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Can you ingest DNxHD footage into Premiere? Can you export DNxHD from Premiere (don’t go to AME)?
If so, the problem may just be with AME. You may just need to do a reinstall of AME CC. If that doesn’t work have you contacted Adobe Support?
