Cannot download SEBSKY TOOLS anymore?
Hi there,
I have been pulling my hair out over trying to get the Sebsky Tools freeware application that everyone talks about (including on here) so I can transfer my editing projects between FCP and Avid.
However, when I go to the dharmafilm.com site, it has ‘Forbidden’ access or Server error messages:
Not Found
The requested URL /sebskytools/ was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) Server at http://www.dharmafilm.com Port 80
Everyone refers to this link to get the application – is it just a matter of the program not being available anymore? Or can I get it somewhere else?

Sebsky had long since stopped being supported. They must be down for good, now.
What are you trying to do? Perhaps we can find another way.

Thought so. I’m wanting to be able to transfer projects I started on Avid (including bins/logs/sequences) into Final Cut to continue working on, and then be able to transfer the project back to Avid again for output.
I see Automatic Duck have software to purchase that can do this, but I was trying to avoid major costs 🙂

thanks, I’ve been looking for this one!
hope it’s going to work to move hvx-200 p2 logged bins from FCP to AVID and that AMA will be able to link back. I must say I have little hope..

kinda quiet on this thread for a while. what do we know, does sebsky tools work?
i need to port an fcp 7 project to avid mc5, and the producers don’t want to drop the $ for automatic duck…
how about some tutorial on sebsky workflow?
