  Cannot download Audio to Vegas

  New to Vegas – needed new computer and edit program to go with XD cam when new ones come out but still have lots of work for BetaCam SP.
  We are going into the PC via DeckLink SP card that was configured and working when manufactured – supposed to be turnkey. Downloads nicely with no drop frames but will not capture audio – flat line in the timeline. I’ve confirmed the settings with Decklink and all’s OK. I’ve gone over the Vegas settings and preferences with the manufactures tech and tried every re-configuration we could think of – nadda.
  I also followed the VAAST training DVD settings – nadda.
  The deck is a Sony PVW-2800 in perfect working order.
  Can anyone help – PLEASE.
