Cannot Dissolve to Stencil Alpha Object?
Hey Guys,
Here’s what I’m trying to do:
I have a colorful video background in Group 1. I have a company logo in Group 2 (on top of Group 1), that I have set to Stencil Alpha in the Blend Mode.
I want to see the colorful background, and then the logo slowly dissolves up on top of the background, so that we can only see the background through the Stencil Alpha’ed logo.
HOWEVER, as soon as the timeline hits Group 2, Group 1 disappears completely. I can see the background through the Stencil Alpha’ed logo, but Motion will not let me do a nice smooth transition fro mthe background in Group 1 to the logo in Group 2.
I’ve tried to fade Group 2 up from 0 to 100 Opacity, but it will not let me. As soon as I drag the slider for the Group 2 opacity below 100, Group 2 disappears completely and Group 1 is the only group visible.
I’ve been racking my brain for a workaround but can’t think of any. Hope this makes sense. Any workarounds/solutions would be greatly appreciated.
