Activity Forums Media 100 Cannot Close File Error

    We have a M100xs system running mac os 10.4 and sw version 8.2. We just started getting a strange error when trying to save or close bins, programs, projects.

    “Could not complete close command because the file was not found.”

    this comes up in a small window and it is impossible to escape the loop, causing us to “force quit” M100, and losing any changes. This is quite problematic when it happens after digitizing because the bin cannot save the changes so all the footage does not link.

    This usually happens when you try to save to a network volume (at least in our office). There have been some changes from OSX 10.3.x to 10.4, wich caused this problem in Media 100 i. The newer versions of Media 100 HD don

    We are saving our files to the internal hard drive. We do have external FW800 drives connected, but not in a network configuration. Not sure if this started after a system upgrade. Could it have anything to do with preferences?
