    Cannot capture from Panasonic AJ-HDX900P tape

    Hey all,
    We shot footage on a Panasonic AJ-HDX900P (DVCPro HD Tapes).
    When I hook the camera up to my PC Laptop via firewire, it shows the camera in the capture devices, but when I select that camera, it gives an error – basically it will not allow me to control the camera from within Vegas. I have Sony Vegas Pro 9.0e.

    Is this a known issue?
    I thought it was as easy as connecting the two via firewire and I could control the transport functions of the camera from within Vegas and capture the video and audio from within Vegas as it played on the camera.

    Also – when I connected my laptop (windows 7 64 bit) to the camera – it auto-opened Roxio – but roxio could not capture from this camera either.

    Any help is much appreciated.
