Cannot acquire DVC-PRo 50 with Panasonic AJ-930 deck
I am attempting to acquire DVC-Pro 50 footage and cannot get it to acquire. I have deck control, but the video does not appear on the monitor screen in M100, and the acquire START button is greyed out. Any ideas what the problem could be. DVC-Pro footage acquires just fine. Thanks!

Not 100% certain and I’ll try to confirm but I think this was fixed in a later release… Suite 1.5 maybe.

Upgrading certainly is an option, however what happens when you are in the middle of a project. Sounds like a risky thing to do(?) What what you or other do. Everything else is working fine. Thanks Mathew and others on this. Help is greatly appreciated!

from experience dealing with an array of customers upgrading is a pretty safe process. typically all you would want to do is make sure you backup your Project files.
The media won’t be touched so you don’t need to back any of that up any more so than you should be already.
I’ll get back to you when I know for certain.
