Cannot Access Quicktime
Since upgrading my computer and therefore OS, I am unable to use CatDV to process transcodes.
I’ve repaired permission, attempted reinstalls, and also launched the app in 32-bit mode with no resolution.
Mac OS X 19.9.5

A few of my guys on Yosemite had an issue. I forget if it’s this exact one but this solution on Squarebox’s site helped:

Thanks man. I have tried that solve to, but to no avail. Not sure what the deal is…

You may want to try re-running the 10.9.5 combo updater (you mentioned re-installs but not sure if that means OS too.) Just to see if QT had an issue on the update.
We’ve not seen that to date. Also, if you have other machines running CatDV, are they seeing this too?

I went ahead and upgraded to version 11. This resolved the issue.
CatDV 10 requires a 32-bit version of Java 1.6 or 1.7. The latest provided via Mac OS updates is 64-bit Java 8.
