Shooting a large series on C300. Workflow is pretty straight forward.

    One thing I’m struggling with.

Creating Proxy files from the C300 MXF. I’d rather not use one of my Avids to make the Proxy and figure there has to be a program out there that does this?

    Anyone have any ideas?

Trying to make H.264 files for folks to screen dailies.

The PavTube MXF converter should do that, I believe.

We used to use that in prior versions of Premiere that couldn’t directly import MXF files (fortunately CS6 will now). We weren’t converting to H.264, but I do think that is one of its output options.

It’s dirt cheap, if I recall… almost shareware.
