Cannon 80D MP4 and Vegas 12
Good morning!
I am currently running Vegas 12 on an i7 with an AMD R9 200 video card.
All is well. My video camera’s are HDR FX1 Mt2 and my cannon HFS100 runs AVCHD. My current system runs quite smooth.I see I might be able to get an excellent deal on a Cannon 80D.
I would really like to avoid transcoding, and I wouldn’t use the .mov file format.
How well does the Cannon .mp4 codec play with vegas? Can I expect it to bog down my system?Thank You

Nah, to my best knowledge that wont bog down your system much at all.
But i think you would get a better performance using Vegas Pro 13.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)
