  • Can´t install new Font on Mac

    Hi,

    I got the following Problem:

I just want to install a font on my mac, but it doesn´t work.
When I double click the font, the Font Book App opens and tells me that “there are multiple copies of this font installed”.
    Why is that?
Can anyone help me with that?

    Greetings
    Flo

Fonts can be install for the entire Computer or they can be installed only for an individual User. Perhaps you are trying to install a Computer level font for which you already have a User level version?

One thing you can do is look for the font by name under All Fonts in Font Book and remove any version you may have and then re-install the new ones that you are trying to install.
