June 12, 2014 at 9:10 amyeah weird. 2 angles selected. Will it not let you select 9 so that that option is checked?

June 13, 2014 at 8:10 pmWhen I click “9 angle” or “4 angles” or “16 angle” absolutely nothing happens. It’s as if it were greyed out (though it isn’t).
When I try to go to 9-angle view in the event viewer its the same deal, no change:

This is what the angle editor looks like:

Thanks for everyone’s help. This is a real mystery.

June 14, 2014 at 12:10 amHi Rob,
Are you happy / willing to share your library without the original or proxy media to see if it behaves the same way on my or anybody else’s system. I’m sure the ‘missing file’ clip won’t be a problem.

June 14, 2014 at 3:24 amThanks Matt! I would love for you to test it on your system if you’d be willing. Can I send it via email?
Update: I re-installed FCPX and updated to 10.0.9 and the problem persists! I’m surprised I haven’t heard from anyone else who has had this issue. I would try updating to 10.1 but that would require upgrading to Mavericks and I’m not ready to do that quite yet.

More than willing although I am running 10.1.1 on Mavericks
Even though we are not the same version it would be good to see. Maybe someone else who is running the same as you will also offer.
How do we exchange email addresses without making them public on here?

June 14, 2014 at 10:12 pmRob,
I am more ignorant than I thought. How do I open an EVENT in FCP X or add it to an existing library?
I have never encountered this before.
Edit..I just remembered you are on FCP X 10.0.8 and therefore you are not using the new library structure where the events and projects are in a library package.
Matt
