Can you view a full-res render without having to export?
Hi guys,
I’m just learning Motion, and I’m stunned by how much it can do (and how easy it makes it) compared to a lot of the other, far more expensive gear we have.
I’m probably missing something obvious here, but is there any way to render and play at full-res within Motion without having to export the movie file and re-import it? I can’t find any “render then play” option anywhere.

Cool, thanks for that. I didn’t notice the RAM preview option hidden away in the “Mark” menu – it’s an unusually counter-intuitive place for Apple to put it.

Or Apple-R. I suspect it’s not exactly front and center because the whole idea of a render runs counter to Motion’s real-time workflow concept.
