I was wondering if you can use AE to create a full website? I want to create a fairly complex website with links, animations, and video. Can AE do this?

No. AE can’t create any interactivity whatsoever. It can only create:

    – videos
    – image sequences
    – still images
    – audio clips
    – non-interactive SWF animations.

… all of which can be present on the site, but you need a program such as Dreamweaver or Flash to create the site.

So yes, you can create a site in AE7, but, like he said, you need the middle man.. (Flash or D.W, etc.) to interprete. The export to swf feature is one of the coolest options in AE, in my opinion, because you can make anything you want.. literally, and add it to your site. Flash would be the best for this I think.
