  Can you sell SGI software?

  Hi all,

  Wasn’t sure where to post this…

  Does anyone know the laws/processes for selling on SGI software?

  I’ve been clearing out some cupboards at work and found full boxed/manualed copies of Avid Media Illusion, Matador & Elastic Reality gathering dust…problem is they only run on SGI, which we got rid of years ago. I heard somewhere that you’re not allowed to sell software for SGI, as it’s tied to the hardware licence? Is this true?

  Any thoughts?..
