  • Can you “label” SV tracks?

Posted by John Lee on December 3, 2015 at 3:30 pm

    Hi.

I often have 4-5 tracks in my SV projects (usually .png files layed on top of video files, etc.) Is there any way to label the tracks instead of remember just the track #?

It would be nice if I could visually see “logo” on top of the track that has my watermark logo, etc.

    Thanks.

Just to clarify, I am talking about the actual tracks, not the files I may place on a track. I know I can do the “Active Take” for files, but I’m talking about labeling the actual track instead of relying on a track #.

    Thanks.

    You certainly can.
Double click in the blank area next to the track number and enter anything you want.
Here’s an example from a recent press conference I did.
