Can you do this in Motion (making a template ?)
My friend is trying to do something like this in FCP, and he is not very technical, so I trying to help him making a “template” in AE or Motion. However, I am not sure if I can make a template in Motion like this where he just change two source videos and manage to make it himself.
Is it just tedious manual work or can I make a preset ?
Any help would be great.

You can add and manipulate drop boxes in Motion. I never did that so Im not sure how the template would later behave. I think it was made to work with DVD Studio Pro and I haven’t seen the possibility to add video to preset dropboxes in FC… but then again I never played with that.
