I’m an After Effects guy who’s wound up doing a lot of editing lately.
I just realized how crazy cool it would be if I could just hit a key to cut a clip with the Razor Tool wherever the CTI is resting.
Is this possible? I’ve tried modifier keys with the C key but no go.

Doh, I feel stupid. I found it. It’s Cmd+K. (This is great!)

Just keep in mind that Cmd (Ctrl) +K is more like a buzzsaw…all tracks active are cut.

It works great when I need to slice into a massive vertical edit and move everything apart.
