Can you create AVCHD DVDs with Vegas Platnum 10?
Hi,
I read over the product feature page for Vegas Movie Studio HD Platnum 10 and can’t determine if it lets you author AVCHD DVDs that will play in BluRay players that support AVCHD DVDs. I know it lets you import AVCHD video to edit.
Does anyone know if you can author AVCHD DVDs?

I’ve downloaded the Vegas 10 demo and it seems like it doesn’t support creating an AVCHD DVD. If I create a movie to DVD there are only standard DVD options. If I create a BluRay, it only gives options to create BluRay output, not AVCHD.
Am I missing something? I’ve been holding off buying video editing software because I was hoping Vegas 10 (not Pro) would let me edit my avchd lite files from my Panasonic ZS3 and create AVCHD DVDs to play on my Panasonic BluRay player.
Believe it or not, the only thing I have found I can do this in is Pinnacle Studio (version 14). I really am trying to avoid buying Pinnacle because past versions have been so buggy. I have had more trouble with the demos from Corel and Power Director.
I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me. If Vegas 10 can do what I want, I much rather buy it than Pinnacle.
