I was wondering if there was any place to buy Sony Vegas Project templates? Something that already has files made up with 3d/ flying/ special effects?
I have the “Vegas Pro Editing Workshop” book and that came with some, but wondering if there is any other place to buy some more.

I am also wondering, am I just lazy and taking the easy way out? Would a truly creative person just create all their own??

I think watching some tutorials on line would help, if you have the high speed connection. You can create a project template and continue to build upon it as you go. Once you have something you like, save it that way and go back and use it every time. YouTube has been my main source for Sony Vegas material. I can’t comment on the template files, because I’ve not worked with them before. Good luck!

Here’s a few that were created by Rory Cooper (aka xfx on the Sony Vegas Pro forum).
I promise that you’ll be amazed by them.
Please note that these are for Vegas Pro 9 ONLY.

Why yes, yes you are lazy and taking the easy way out and a truly creative person (with a lot of free time and years of experience) would create everything from scratch. A truly smart and efficient person, however, uses every tool at his disposal and takes shortcuts whenever it makes sense! No shame at all in starting from a template and no reason to reinvent the wheel if you don’t have to, right? Besides, why would anyone ever want to do things the hard way, when the easy way out is, well, easier?!

Those are really awesome. Unfortunately, I only have Pro 8, not 9 so I am unable to use them. However, it did give me some inspiration to get going and motivated.
