Can you burn on the fly – skip disk image
Encore takes a lot of extra wasted time that I don’t need to waste in my opinion. I’m referring to all versions of Encore. I want to know if there is a way to skip the following actions that Encore does before it starts burning:
1. Importing asset with cache. (It takes about 10 minutes for Encore to import large files like 20GB .264 files for blu ray. The only reason it takes so long is that Encore must be caching it to disk which is unnecessary since the files don’t need to be transcoded and I’m not going to be doing any editing on them.)
2. Building disk image. (Encore takes 30 minutes to build a disk image, THEN it burns from that, and then deletes the image. If I wanted an image to be written to disk, I would choose Blu-ray image and not Blu-ray disk! Why can’t Encore just burn on the fly like Nero and other programs do?)
Thanks.
