I have a main library that has a number of events in it that I no longer need to access regularly, but don’t want to get rid of. Is there a way to archive them, or create another folder to put them in, so I don’t have a long list of events to scroll through in the library pane? I’m using 10.1.3. Thanks!

You can drag an event to a new Library and then archive that…

The simplest mechanism would be to create a new Library and then move the old events into that library, removing them from your working library. Next, simply right click and close that library.

He wants to offload that library, I think, to another drive for safekeeping, no longer on the system.

Sounds to me like she’s been doing all his projects/jobs in one library with an event for each job and now he simply needs to offload/close the projects he’s not working on.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Creating a new library, moving the old projects into it and closing the library works just fine.

“He” is a she, by the way 😉

    Thanks!!
