  • Can you apply video effects to multiple instances of a clip?

I want to apply some color correction to some video clips I have.

However, I have multiple instances of the video clips on the timeline.

I don’t want to have to apply the video effects to each instance of the clip. Instead, I’d like to apply the video effects directly to the clip (in the project panel). Is there any way to do this?

This is not FCP and FCP won’t do what you want properly either. (update each clip in the timeline). FCP keeps making a new sample of each instance of the clip you cut etc.
PPro can’t alter the original clip in the project panel. It is a reference to the original clip on the harddrive.
Apply the effect you want the way you want it. Copy the clip from the timeline. Find and select each copy of the clip throughout the entire timeline. The right click and paste attributes. All clips selected will take on the effect and its parameters.
