Posted by Derik Thadd on July 9, 2007 at 4:00 pm

I work in a Post-production facility that has sveral Media Composers(some Adrenaline) all working on a XP sevice pack 2 platform. I am trying to convince them to upgrade a few of the edit suites to the new
Mac Pro’s but they are worried that they won’t be able to get Unity to talk to them.

Is there a way to solve this issue? Can anyone out there give me advice (from experience)
on how to get both Mac and XP platforms to talk to (without major or minor-major
    issues) Unity simultaneously?

    thanks,

Unity is designed to work with both Windows XP and Mac OSX clients. Call Avid support to get the right version numbers for Unity and the clients.

Where do people GET this idea? Unity has ALWAYS supported Macintosh Clients, Through the Chooser in OS 9 and now through the Fibre Connection Manager in OS-X.

Please tell whomever told you there might be a problem that they have been given false information.

I use Unity on Mac along with PC’s daily.
