can Vegas handle DV to HD up-res for broadcast?
hi,
were about to commence post on a doc which was shot on Sony miniDV cams; many, many hours of footage – many, many little miniDV tapes.
the final show will be approximately 1 1/2 hours long.
the footage may need to be upconverted / up-rezzed to HD for HD broadcast release; is this something that can be done within Vegas to some extent? what is the best method to do this in order to satisfy broadcast specs, and to yield the BEST results?
if an external facility is needed, which is the best one?
and finally, what can we do now, within Vegas and other apps, to best prepare the final show for the up-res?
