January 19, 2006 at 4:47 pmI believe when you first import the EDL and the files are offline, you can double click on them and change the meta data.

January 20, 2006 at 2:06 amthx for the response, I know I can fix it in notepad, but unfortunately there are heaps of clips all over the place and i would prefer not to do it this way…
just a little BG…
I am on FCP5.04 and the file made for me is from premier 6.5… having heaps of issues.. Have just found out i can change the reels via FCP so that’s all good now…..
anyone had experience with importing premier 6.5 into FCP?

January 25, 2006 at 9:14 pmFYI, within Premiere, you can change the reel name – under the File menu, choose the ‘Timecode…’ entry after selecting a clip in the project window.
(Unfortunately, there’s no way to select multiple clips and change them all with this dialog in one shot. Sounds like a good feature request…)
