November 21, 2018 at 2:57 amI was trying to recreate the same style in Illustrator but I didn’t get success. Ps can do it I know but am not so good at it+ its raster. Was just wondering if I was missing something in Illustrator that might produce this effect

November 21, 2018 at 9:42 pmThe biggest thing that is missing in Illustrator to do this is exactly that: bitmaps. The textures in the image are all bitmaps. The drawing could have been done by hand (watercolor), although I suspect it is only partially so, and a lot of photoshopping has gone into it as well.
In Illustrator you can import and overlay bitmap images, they’re just not readily editable like they are in PS.
