Can this be achieved in After Effects?
I’m wondering if anyone knows if the line/wireframe part of this was done in After Effects of if you have a solution to do this. What I want to do is make a shape out of lines similar to the one at 0:15-0:18 seconds. I would like to be able to pull the corners of the shape and have the lines follow them and grow. Can this be done with parenting or some expressions?

There are a few ways…
… the easiest way would be to create your 3D looking picture of lines and points in Photoshop (or AE)… then use the puppet tool to stretch and move the lines (and points).
This will not look like the 3D object in your sample since that was done with a 3D application… but, you can make it look as if it is 3D if you create a good 3D picture with photoshop (or AE).
